I grew a lot more food in my container survival garden this week. I have a few more things to plant to truly grow as much food as possible this season.
The container survival garden is coming together nicely. Some plants have produced multiple harvests, but most aren’t quite ready. There’s still time.
Managing the container survival garden in August is all about fertilising, removing pests and harvesting. I am able to harvest and preserve food daily.

What happened in my survival container garden this week? Seeds sprouted, some plants bloomed, and berries ripened on the bushes. The garden is in full motion.
The rain continued and the humidity made the slug population flourish. They just kept coming. Even so, the plants kept growing taller and wider every day.
