Sometimes you fall into a slump, we all do. We all have times in our lives when everything seems to go wrong. We attract the wrong kind of people, we get sick way too easily, we lose our jobs, miss the bus, our tech breaks down, and things just seem to be slipping through our fingers. And it all seems to happen all at once. That’s when you know that your vibration is low. No one is living their best life when their vibration is low. We need to start again.
Find your ideal frequency
Everyone operates on a frequency, a vibration. When you vibe high, you are going to do well. Things will be flowing freely and everything you want in your life, you’ll attract. You’ll be on a roll. You’ll be living your best life. The people you want to meet will just walk into your life and settle there as if they’ve always been there. Your high vibration will attract your tribe and things will go your way.
The dangers of having a low-vibration
When your vibration starts to dip, the opposite will happen. Your mood will worsen. The people who wouldn’t have been able to get close to you, let alone notice you when you vibe high, will swarm around you like moths to a flame. The ex you don’t want to hear from? They’ll waltz right back into your life. Your perfect sleep? Nope, hello insomnia. Your job? Friends? Family? You’ll see an increase in conflicts. You’ll meet toxic people, human dementors.

An uprise of seemingly never-ending drama. And as the human dementors enter your life, your vibe will go even lower. Nothing will go right until you buckle down and decide to raise your vibration back up again. And you need to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
It’s like a radio and you tune into different frequencies. Whatever your vibe/frequency is, only those who are at that same frequency will be able to tune into you. To hear you. To get close to you. To everyone else, your frequency is just static noise. Low-vibrational people attract other low-vibrational people and vice versa.
How do you raise your vibration?
There are many different things you can do to raise your vibration. The first thing is to sit down and make a list. Make a list of what you want your life to be like and write each thing down as if you’ve already achieved it. What would your best life look and feel like?
Don’t write down the difficulties you’re currently having. They’re of little consequence. They’re symptoms at most. They’ll disappear automatically as your true life is manifested and the cause of the symptoms goes away. Just focus on what you want and act as if you already have it.
People often make the mistake of focusing on their problems and what they don’t want out of life, worrying incessantly. But what you think about, you attract. So by thinking about what you don’t want, you’re really shouting to the Universe, “Hey, this awfulness I’m experiencing right now? This is exactly what I want. Thanks, mate!” and everything you want to avoid, you’ll attract.
So first of all, make a list and figure out what you want in life.
Create balance in your life
Look at your life right now. Do you have a balance? If not, the balance is next on your list.
By balance I mean, do you spend all your time at work and do little else? Or do you spend all your time with your family, but you’re not connecting with anyone outside of your family? Or do you perhaps spend all your time with your friends, always playing, never working? The saying “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” isn’t that far off. Without balance, we crash. Without balance, we risk depression, anxiety, eating disorders, even panic attacks.
The luckiest people in the world
People need people. People also need to be challenged intellectually. We also need personal interests, time in nature and alone time, and time to ourselves. Time to replenish our energy and capability to interact with others and their energies.
What do you enjoy? What makes your soul soar? What makes you giddy with excitement? Do more of that.
If you’re stuck with a job you hate, in a relationship where you’re not happy or if you just haven’t gone anywhere in a while and feel like you’ll start growing roots soon, do something about it.
Life is TOO DAMN SHORT!
Whatever it is you’re afraid of, consider it honestly. Is your fear justified? Is it worth it, hanging on to that fear? People tend to worry about things like what could go wrong and what if it all goes south but try a different thought. What if it becomes better than you could possibly imagine? What if it is exactly what you need to feel complete? What if success and pure happiness are just around the corner?
You might be one decision away from your dream. One deep breath away from your best life.
Create eating habits that align with your needs
What do you eat? Do you treat your body like a temple or a landfill?
Write a food journal and next to everything you eat, write how it made you feel. Not just physically but mentally as well.
What you eat affects your mental health, your physical health, your spiritual health and yes, even your vibration. If you eat trash, you’ll feel like trash. If you eat green food full of energy and life, you too will feel full of energy and life.
Have you ever heard of scanning? When people are in tune with their intuition, they can feel energies, and they can tune into a higher power. Rub your hands together and close your eyes. Try to connect with a higher power or your spirit guides. Even the Universe, if that’s easier. You can even talk out loud if you feel like that would make you more comfortable. Try to ask a simple question, something with an obvious answer like “Is my brown hair brown?”. One negative and one positive to decipher what a ‘yes’ and what a ‘no’ feels like to you.
Then you start listing foods and ask if this or that food is in favour of your highest self. If you’re open to it, it is a great way of figuring out what your body really needs. It may take practice, and it will require an open mind, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, it’s so worth it.
Improve your health
How’s your health? Are you feeling tired or experiencing headaches? Migraines? How’s your digestion? If you are experiencing any difficulties with your health, or feel anything less than spectacular, I really suggest looking into clearing your body from toxins like heavy metals. Looking into your mental health – even if you don’t have depression or anything like that – is also very important.
Every person in this world and the next has experienced some kind of trauma, something that changed them. Something they can’t forget or something they can’t remember fully. Your trauma can and often creates blockages in your energy and your chakras. Both affect your behaviour and your health. It changes you. And when you hang around with others and when you start your own family, you can unknowingly transfer your trauma onto them. If it’s your children, that can feed into their own trauma, making it more severe.
Go forward a few generations, and you’ll have people carrying generations worth of trauma, things that will undoubtedly create problems in their relationships and their everyday lives.
Trauma is never your fault but it is your responsibility to decide to heal from it and to make sure it doesn’t transfer onto someone else. To make sure no one else suffers from your trauma. It is an important thing to deal with before you have children.
Trauma can and often will lower your vibration. Anything that holds you back, creating blockages in you, and lowering your mood, will lower your vibration. It’s inevitable.
Other ways to raise your vibration
As a quick rule, whatever raises your mood and makes your soul feel good, that will in turn raise your vibration. Be with the people you love and care about. Laugh. Get lost in the music. Dance like no one is watching. Sing at the top of your lungs. Get your creative juices flowing. Exercise to release endorphins. Spend time by the ocean or in the woods, and completely immerse yourself in nature.
Say your affirmations out loud. Look into the mirror, meet your gaze, smile widely and say nice things about yourself. Smother yourself in self-love and adoration for your own amazing self. Take a closer look at your thoughts. Observe them without identifying with them and try to reshape the negative ones. Figure out why you think the way you do. Learn more about how you tick, without judgement.
How do I get rid of the human dementors that I’ve attracted?
Find ways to protect your energy. Do a cord-cutting session. Crystals can take you part of the way, as can daily meditation. You can cleanse your energy every or every other day with sage or another healing herb. Imagine white light flowing through you. See yourself as a being of light. Imagine a vortex around you, or a protective bubble if you will. The bubble can be in any colour you want. It can have any texture you want it to.
Continue to visualise and try different things to see what works best for you. Believe that you are divinely guided and protected because you are. Think positive thoughts. Envision the future you want as if it’s already here. If you do, you’re bound to rise so high that the energetic vampires can no longer reach you.

This is the age of social media and technology, and people are lonelier than ever. Chasing likes is like trying to capture a shadow. You’ll keep trying, keep chasing, and it will never be worth it.
Having a few people in your life who truly connect with you, who fill your life with love and meaning… people who are on the same wavelength as you… That will always be worth more than a thousand likes and following yes-sayers who are barely listening to you, only nodding and feigning interest. That’s what a like is on social media. Sure, it can mean they have a true interest in you and what you do. But most of the time, people don’t think twice before they like something. They’ve barely finished reading before they’ve pressed like or decided not to. Then they scroll past, forgetting all about it.
So don’t get hung up on the size of your community. Quality over quantity. Focus on making true soul connections. Take care of your health. Expressing gratitude. Meditate on what you want to attract, and the rest will work itself out. Soon enough, your low vibration will be but a memory. And you’ll be vibing high once more.
