Buy generic aspirin or the like instead of the brand name ones.
Make your own cough syrup and cough tablets.
Make your fast food favourite at home.
Cancel your landline if you tend to rely on your cell phone.
Ask friends and family for clothes they have let go of. Use them as is, or redesign them and alter them to turn them into what you need.
Get gift certificates by taking surveys online. Use them to pay for some of your annual or quarterly expenses. For example, I use gift certificates to pay for home items, clothes, shoes and technology.
Purchase refurbished second-hand electronics instead of buying new.
Find yourself an inexpensive creative hobby.
Use public Wi-Fi instead of using mobile data.
Charge your phone and laptop in public places such as the mall, the library or at a local cafe.
Make your own candy at home.
Use energy-saving settings on appliances and electronics.
Take good care of your shoes and they will last you decades, not months.
