Let’s go handmade this season of giving. There are so many things we can make and give to our loved ones during this giving season. And isn’t it so much more fun to receive and to give something that has been made by hand?
If you can crochet, sew, knit or embroider, that makes it even easier. More about that in the next post. But here is a list of things you can make that doesn’t involve those techniques.
Food & Drink
You can bake cookies or make seed crackers and give them away in a nice jar.
Grab yourself some dry herbs and make homemade teas based on your family members/friends preferences.

A quiet moment
Coffee grounds and sugar makes for an excellent exfoliating sugar scrub. You can add some essential oil or dry herbs to get the scent you’re going for as well. Lavender makes it extra relaxing.
Find some pretty bowls or cups and turn them into candles. You can adjust the scent – or choose to have none – and colour here as well.
You can make soaps with natural ingredients and a soap mix. Each family member/friend could receive a soap with a scent that matches their preference.
Make a facial mask and gift it with a card that says it is a preview for an at home spa day with you.
